Our conviction

Singapore's renovation industry had a problem. Beautiful photographs, questionable craft. We went overseas to solve it.

We tested dozens of materials. Initial ones we bought locally were worse than we thought. Then we found a reliable manufacturer who worked closely with us to formulate and develop the most suitable material for Singapore's climate.

The material

Microcement is a hand-applied, layered cement workmanship that becomes the surface itself — bonded, 4mm thick, seamless from floor to wall to ceiling with no joint and no grout line.

The material we use is sourced directly from overseas after months of testing. It takes colour in over a hundred shades, and when sealed correctly, it will outlast the renovation it belongs to.

Our story

We went looking
for the best

When microcement started appearing in Singapore homes, we saw the same pattern: contractors with no lineage, materials from unknown sources, homeowners left with cracks and no recourse.

So we flew overseas. Found a master applicator trained under craftsmen whose families have been doing this for generations. Then built Singapore's most complete microcement showroom.

Four layers.
No shortcuts.

The same system for every job. Six to eight days, applied by hand, with full drying time between each coat.

Anti-crack
foundation
Fibreglass mesh, primer and anti-crack mortar are applied to the substrate. This prevents the surface mirroring structural movement — the most common cause of failure elsewhere.

Base
hardening
Three to five coats of premium microcement, applied at 8–10 hour intervals. Each coat is trowelled by hand. They build structure, density and colour depth.
Days 2–5

Effect &
finish
Sanded through 180 to 320 grit to achieve the chosen texture — matte, satin or polished. The final trowel pass locks in the design character and material variation.
Day 6

Waterproof
seal
Two coats of premix protective primer — waterproof, anti-slip and anti-mould. This layer makes the surface appropriate for toilets, kitchens and all wet areas.

Seamless behind the hob, where grout usually fails first. Heat-tolerant, wipes clean in one pass.

Over existing tiles
Microcement bonds directly over sound existing tiles and screed. That is why there is no hacking — and why a bathroom takes days, not weeks.
Maintenance
Neutral-pH soap and water. No special treatments, no re-grouting, no polishing schedule. The sealed surface is what you clean — not the cement itself.
Longevity
Applied correctly — four layers, full curing time — microcement outlasts the renovation around it. Most failures you see online are single-layer shortcuts.
